Anointed. Aligned. Available.

Big Idea:
 God doesn’t just anoint you for the platform, He anoints you for life. But the anointing flows through alignment and requires availability. True influence comes when these three meet in every sphere of life.

1. FAMILY – Lead With Oil, Not Just Order

Anointed:

Your home is your first pulpit.
 Scripture: “You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” – Psalm 23:5

If your cup overflows anywhere, it should be at home first. You can’t fake anointing in front of your kids or spouse—it leaks or it overflows.

Aligned:

God’s order in the home brings peace.
 Scripture: “But if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?” – 1 Timothy 3:5

Align your calendar with your values. Don’t win on the platform and lose at home.

Available:

Quote – “The single greatest influence on a child’s faith is the spiritual leadership of the parents.”

Be present, not just providing. You can't outsource fatherhood, marriage, or presence.

Illustration:
 You’re not just building a house, you’re raising a legacy. Don’t bring your family your leftovers. Bring them your best oil.

2. FRIENDS – Lead With Loyalty, Not Leverage

Anointed:

Choose friends that sharpen your calling.
 Scripture: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17

God places anointed people around you to help you grow. Anointing is contagious in the right company.

Aligned:

Friendships need mutual purpose.
 Quote – “Every relationship is a current. It’s either taking you closer to purpose or pulling you away.”

If the alignment’s off, the flow of wisdom and purpose breaks.

Available:

Scripture: “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” – Proverbs 17:17

Make time for real, life-giving friendships. Don’t just lead people—walk with people.

 You need friends who aren’t impressed by your gift but are invested in your growth.

3. CHURCH – Lead With Spirit, Not Just Strategy

Anointed:

Scripture: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord.” – Zechariah 4:6

Programs don’t break yokes—presence does. A church without anointing is a club with better music.

Aligned:

Alignment with leadership creates corporate authority.
 Quote – “The people with the most influence in the church are the ones most aligned with its vision.”

Don’t undermine what you’re trying to build. Agreement accelerates anointing.

Available:

Be more than a consumer. Be present in the house.
 Scripture: “Planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish...” – Psalm 92:13

 Church isn’t a side hustle—it’s the training ground for Kingdom leadership. Get planted to grow in power.

4. MINISTRY – Lead With Purpose, Not Performance

Anointed:

The call isn’t a career—it’s a consecration.
 Scripture: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me...” – Luke 4:18

If the anointing isn’t on it, don’t do it. Let the Spirit dictate your assignment.

Aligned:

Stay under covering, and your ministry will flourish.
 Quote – John Maxwell: “A great leader never outgrows accountability.”

Alignment with mentors, leaders, and God’s timing keeps your ministry safe and strong.

Available:

God uses the available more than the impressive.
 Scripture: “Here I am. Send me!” – Isaiah 6:8

 David was just delivering lunch when his moment came. Be faithful with the mundane—your Goliath will come.

5. COMMUNITY – Lead With Compassion, Not Just Competence

Anointed:

You are anointed for your city.
 Scripture: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” – Matthew 5:14

You don’t just carry a mic—you carry the oil into schools, boardrooms, gyms, and neighborhoods.

Aligned:

Your calling must serve the people you’re sent to.
 Quote – “Calling is not just about you. It’s about who suffers when you don’t show up.”

When you align your gift with people’s needs, heaven moves.

Available:

Be interruptible. Be present in your city.
 Scripture: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Mark 12:31

Illustration:
 Jesus didn’t just preach to the crowd—He sat with the woman at the well. Sometimes ministry looks like margin.

Final Charge:

You don’t need a perfect résumé—you need an AAA rating:

  • Anointed by God

  • Aligned with His purpose

  • Available for His use

That’s the kind of leader God trusts with influence.
